Subtle stirrings between lovers as they rest skin to skin.

Under blankets and half closed eyelids 

Lips parted for words to soon descend.

Few subtle lighted mornings where the lovers can sleep in.

Fingertips that search their others familiar them.

Intention in their placement as comfort settles vim.

Longstanding solicitude linking them

Once bated shallow breath now calm and deep

Earns the lovers faint submission and retreat

The stirring stops as murmurs fade and dreams begin to creep

Tranquil as the lovers sleep

Faint reflexive kisses 

Physical respite shared under sheets
